Description
Lean is a continuous improvement initiative that helps organizations improve their overall performance by identifying and reducing waste and making processes better and more efficient. Lean tools and strategies can be applied to a number of municipal areas.
This course introduces the costs and quality issues associated with modern day municipal services. It identifies the benefits associated with implementing Lean to address key municipal challenges. Finally, it outlines and explains the main steps involved in implementing Lean in any municipal setting.
